Mr. Houston originally sent his audio program to a top behavioral psychologist at St. Jude Hospital in Memphis, TN
in the fall of 2004. After listening to the program she wanted to submit it to the American Psychiatric Association because she said it dealt directly with on-going research studies into “human decision-making patterning” through temperaments. Mr. Houston respectfully declined her offer in order to protect his intellectual property at that time.
The Whalen Lab, located in Moore Hall at Dartmouth College, in Hanover, NH, which has been at the forefront of American higher education since 1769, has made recent scientific discoveries that confirm what O.L. Houston has long said and written about the human decision making patterning process. Mr. Houston has long taught that the brain has a decision funnel that opens and closes depending on the validity of information it is presented. The Whalen Lab has confirmed the existence of this decision funnel (which they describe as a sort of ‘moat’) and its location in the brain (specifically in the Amygdala).
